Nereth Coins Guide
Nereth coins are the primary currency in Azuris. They can be used to purchase various items across the site.
How Do I Obtain Nereth Coins?
Nereth coins can be obtained in many ways, but the most common is via artwork and writing. One of the core aspects of Bottle Nymphs is being an art-RPG, and encourages players to draw or write to excel in their skills while receiving Nereth coins for rewards. The amount of Nereth coins received heavily relies on the detail and complexity of the art or writing. Below is a calculator to help count how much Nereth coins you will receive.

Artwork Requirements

When submitting prompts, please do not submit more than 2 prompts at one time and please wait until approval before submitting more.

Pieces that contain more than 10 characters will not be accepted as we have to confirm each character added and having too many can cause difficulties.

Mini comics/mangas are allowed as long as they are super short!

All artworks submitted for prompts must be fully colored with accurate color palettes! Color palettes with slight change due to lighting, shading or from the environment is alright.

Sketches, lineart, monochrome or grayscale, and limited palette works will not be accepted unless otherwise stated.

All artwork submitted for prompts must be made by you and for Bottle Nymphs

Artwork submitted for rewards must contain official Bottle Nymph designs. Designs that are not official or not yet finalized are not accepted.

The following is not allowed to be submitted for rewards:

Artwork created using an on-base or YCH base.

Artwork with reused assets. Copy-pasting a background from one submission onto another is one example, and is not accepted.

Very heavy use of premade assets. In order to take credit for a piece you must draw 90% of it. Using a 3D model for the background and claiming rewards for something you did not draw will not be accepted. However, creating a 3D model for your artwork or to be used in the artwork is accepted but can only be used once in a submission.
The following is not allowed in Bottle Nymphs at all:

Tracing or reproducing. Although tracing is a common practice to help improve artwork, do not post these publicly. As for reproducing, players cannot take direct reproductions or parts from other artists, including official artwork on Bottle Nymphs.

Non-Bottle Nymph bases. It's alright to create Bottle Nymph bases to be used for Bottle Nymph art, but using bases from outside Bottle Nymphs is not allowed.

AI generated or assisted images. Bottle Nymphs is a game site hosted by artists, for artists. We do not support generative AI and using such programs will result in a permanent ban.​​
Basic Rewards
Artwork submitted to prompts on the Bottle Nymph site that meet all of the art requirements will earn Nereth coins according to the table above.

Full-body counts as artwork featuring a character fully drawn with no major parts of their body being blocked or out of view.

Half-body counts as artwork that depicts a character from the thighs and up. A chibi artwork will receive the same rewards as a half-body as long as the artwork shows the character in full detail and color. Simplified style chibis will not be accepted for rewards.

A simple background counts as a background that is not a simple color or gradient/pattern. It must have some amount of work. Examples of simple backgrounds:

​A complex background counts as a background that contains more than simple elements, such as buildings and rooms. Examples of complex backgrounds:

As for comics/mangas, each character that is uniquely drawn is counted separately from backgrounds for rewards. A character that is drawn individually in each of 4 panels earns the same rewards as drawing 4 characters, while a background that is repeated across panels can only be counted once.

Animations are granted rewards for each uniquely drawn keyframe as an individual character. Rewards should reflect the same as a static image. Small animations such as blinking or bouncing do not earn any extra rewards.
Bonus Rewards
Gift Art Bonus: +70 Nereth coins for drawing a character you do not own, including NPCs.
-This bonus is additive, so if you include an NPC in a comic that has 5 panels, and that NPC is in all 5, you add this reward 5 times.

Pet Bonus: +50 Nereth coins for including your Bottle Nymph's pet.
-This bonus is additive, so if you include your nymph with 4 of their pets, you add this reward 4 times.
-This only works when drawing your own Bottle Nymph with a pet from their household. You cannot receive this bonus when drawing someone else's character with a pet and cannot also receive this bonus when drawing your character with a pet they do not own.

Shading Bonus: +70 Nereth coins for shading your artwork.
-This is an artwork based bonus and does not apply per character.

Collaborations: Each artist earns 1/2 of the Nereth coin rewards total, rounded up.
-Both collaborators may separately submit their piece to earn their half of the rewards.

Note: We reserve the right to reject artwork that appears to be low effort as an attempt to farm Nereth coins.
Please make sure to put in real effort and time into your submissions for prompts. There's no need to be Picasso or Poe, but suspected grinding for Nereth coins will result in a review and the submission rejected.​
